Mimì Aminata Caruso, known professionally as Mimì, is a young singer born in 2007 and originally from Bamako, Mali. Passionate about music from an early age, she took part in singing competitions across Italy, steadily developing her talent and stage presence.
In 2024, she captured the hearts of audiences on X Factor Italia with her distinctive voice and charismatic performances, ultimately winning the competition in the grand final held in Naples on December 5.
Following her recording debut with “Dove si va”, written by Madame, Mimì released the singles “Brooklyn” (April 2025) and “Chakra” (June 2025), both under Warner Music Italy.
After a busy summer performing at concerts throughout Italy, including an appearance on Shablo’s Street Jazz Tour alongside Joshua and Tormento, Mimì opened 2026 with a prestigious performance at the Verona Arena during the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. There, she performed the Italian national anthem before an international audience and institutional representatives, delivering a moving performance that also touched the Presidency of the Italian Republic.
