Pablo Miguel Lombroni Capalbo, aka DJ Shablo, is an Italian-Argentinian musician, producer, DJ, and manager.
A reference point for Italian urban music in the last two decades, he is among the very few in Italy able to move from soul to trap, from golden years rap to avant-garde electronica, thanks to his ability to unite and create worlds apparently incompatible with each other.
In his career he has curated the direction of several multi-platinum albums, from Santeria by Marracash and Gué Pequeno to Rockstar by Sfera Ebbasta, and has supervised the artistic production of many other discographic projects in the hip hop and urban fields, including Fabri Fibra’s Fenomeno, Gentleman, Sinatra and GVESUS by Gué, Io in Terra, Dove gli occhi non arrivano and Taxi Driver by Rkomi, and Il giorno in cui ho smesso di pensare by Irama. He has also produced many of the cult artists of the Italian underground including Noyz Narcos and Tormento.
Among the artists he has discovered over the years are Izi, Rkomi, Ernia, Achille Lauro, Elettra Lamborghini and, most importantly, Sfera Ebbasta and Charlie Charles.
From 2019 he begins to publish for Island Records a number of singles under his own name, starting with Non ci sto (certified Platinum). In June 2020 it is the time of M’ Manc, which one week after its release debuted at No. 1 on the FIMI-GFK singles chart, certified 5 times Platinum, was in the top 10 of the most listened to songs of the year and in the top 50 of the most listened to songs of the last 10 years in Italy on Spotify.
Alongside his musical exploits, he is also the founder and administrator of some of the record industry’s most innovative and prolific businesses, such as Thaurus, BHMG and Urubamba Studio. In 2023, and in collaboration with Måneskin’s manager, Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, he opened Moysa, Italy’s largest music hub, located in Milano.
In 2024, Shablo was chosen as the Maestro Concertatore for “La Notte della Taranta”, the largest festival in Italy and one of the most significant events on popular culture in Europe.
He was in charge of curating the 3-hour event. There were more than 200,000 spectators who enjoyed the show live from the main piazza, which was also broadcast live on Rai3 reaching 1 million viewers. In February 2025, Shablo participated in the Sanremo Festival alongside Guè, Joshua and Tormento with the song “La mia parola”, the first fully hip-hop track in the history of the Festival. He also announced his “Street Jazz” summer tour, set to kick off in July 2025 along with the new release of a new album featuring collaborations with Joshua, Tormento and Mimmì, who will also join him on stage for his live shows.
